Cannes Film Festival 2024 – Panel Discussion Highlights
A brilliant afternoon at the Marché du Film – Festival de Cannes on Thursday 16 May, where we had the pleasure of hosting our Panel discussion about the power of film and storytelling to inspire ideas, change perspectives and spark conversations.
The social power of film is immense, serving as a bridge between different cultures and experiences. It encourages us to be open-minded and curious, fostering a desire to learn about diverse stories and perspectives. Films have the unique ability to connect us with experiences beyond our own, making us more empathetic and understanding of the world around us. By embracing diverse narratives, we not only enrich our own lives but also contribute to a more inclusive and harmonious society.
We extend our gratitude to the Marché, to our collaborators FIAPF Producers, and Independent Film & Television Alliance, to our wonderful panelists Wincie Knight, Annemie Degryse, Jonas Poher Rasmussen, to our moderator Perrine Quennesson, and to everyone who attended and was part of the conversation, either in person or online!
